Senior Consultant – Safety Project Management

About the role

Veeva Systems is seeking a Senior Consultant to lead global implementations of its Vault Safety solution for biopharmaceutical customers. You will act as the primary liaison, ensuring complex SaaS projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to industry best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end SaaS delivery from discovery through go‑live and post‑production support.
• Lead and mentor an international team of consultants and configuration specialists across time zones.
• Coordinate with customer executives, IT leads, and Veeva product teams to align expectations and resolve bottlenecks.
• Oversee business workshops, capture functional requirements, and ensure technical designs meet holistic customer needs.
• Identify project risks early and devise mitigation strategies.
• Guide complex data migration activities to preserve data integrity.
• Drive change‑management practices to transition customers from on‑premise systems to agile multi‑tenant SaaS.

Required profile

• 10+ years of life‑sciences experience with a focus on drug safety and pharmacovigilance.
• Proven track record leading global system‑implementation programs with high customer satisfaction.
• Deep knowledge of PV processes and safety systems such as Argus, Aris, and Veeva Safety.
• Strong understanding of SaaS/Cloud nuances, multi‑tenancy, and continuous release cycles.
• Excellent English communication skills for influencing diverse global stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
