Senior Civil Engineer – Assistant Manager (Renewable Energy)

About the role

The candidate will have a complete understanding of quality requirements related to civil works at site and will prepare Civil FQP and relevant checklists for implementation. This role is responsible for the quality of civil work on utility‑scale renewable (solar & wind) energy projects.

Key responsibilities

• Create, process, complete and maintain accurate civil quality documentation and records for projects.
• Conduct raw‑material testing (cement, sand, aggregate) and ensure compliance with IS 10262 and IS 456 standards.
• Prepare the Civil FQP, coordinate with contractors for agreements and design‑mix finalisation.
• Review material test certificates (MTC) and perform cube testing as per IS 456, handling root‑cause analysis for failures.
• Deliver site‑quality training to internal teams and contractors.
• Perform site quality verification inspections, maintain meeting minutes and logs.
• Witness daily site quality work according to the approved QAP.
• Identify, record and communicate deviations, observations and non‑conformities; follow up for closure.
• Produce weekly and monthly non‑conformity status reports and maintain contractor performance records.
• Resolve construction quality issues on‑site and drive preventive actions for continual improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering from a reputable institute.
• 5–7 years of experience in site civil quality control and QA documentation for utility‑scale renewable projects.
• Strong knowledge of renewable industry standards and Indian codes (IS/IEC) and good written communication skills.
