Senior Buyer

About the role

The Senior Buyer will lead the end‑to‑end merchandise lifecycle for menswear, translating consumer insights into differentiated product offerings. This role partners closely with design, sourcing, retail and planning teams to drive commercial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Define product architecture, build merchandise grids and turn consumer insights into differentiated assortments.
• Lead seasonal assortment planning, SKU mix and store allocation to maximise sell‑through.
• Own cost structures, pricing strategies and margin optimisation, including GMROI and inventory turns.
• Manage the merchandise calendar and go‑to‑market execution from concept to launch, ensuring on‑time availability.
• Drive in‑season inventory productivity through replenishment, liquidation and stock optimisation.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with Design, Sourcing, Retail and Planning for seamless execution.
• Build and mentor high‑performing teams while delivering strong commercial outcomes.

Required profile

• NIFT graduate.
• 8–13 years of experience in buying, merchandising or product roles.
• Strong experience in menswear, preferably ethnic or occasion wear.
• Proven expertise in assortment planning, product strategy and inventory management.
• Strong analytical and commercial acumen with data‑backed decision‑making.
• Experience managing end‑to‑end merchandise lifecycle and GTM execution.
• Excellent stakeholder management and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
