Senior Business Systems Analyst – Finance & SaaS Security

About the role

Snowflake is looking for a senior Business Systems Analyst to bridge Finance business stakeholders and IT developers. You will translate finance needs into functional specifications, configure and enhance finance systems, and drive automation using AI‑enabled tools.

Key responsibilities

• Support finance systems during period‑close activities and automate accounting processes with cutting‑edge technology.
• Lead core accounting, external reporting, and FP&A transformation projects, identifying gaps and recommending improvements.
• Act as an AI evangelist, quickly creating wireframes, functional specifications, test automations, and other innovations.
• Partner with other application owners to ensure seamless business automation and data management across Workday and custom platforms.
• Design, develop, and deploy enterprise IT projects within the Workday ecosystem and Snowflake’s custom application environment.
• Facilitate agile ceremonies, develop test scripts, oversee quality assurance, and produce training materials and release notes for finance users.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst on finance implementations or operations, preferably with Workday Finance.
• Strong understanding of core accounting, external reporting, and FP&A processes.
• Proven ability to communicate with senior finance, security, IT, and HR stakeholders and drive cross‑functional initiatives.

Required skills

• Workday Finance module and other ERP systems.
• Custom application development and integration with Workday or third‑party solutions.
• AI tools such as Claude, Gemini, and Co‑pilot for rapid prototyping.
• SQL query writing and Python scripting for data manipulation.
• Experience with database concepts and Snowflake’s data platform.
