Senior Business Analyst – B2B Travel Tech (Pune)

About the role

You will own business analysis for Musafir’s B2B travel technology platform, translating business needs into clear product and technology requirements while driving alignment across Product, Engineering, Operations and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with stakeholders to understand business objectives, pain points and process gaps.
• Gather, analyse and document functional and non‑functional requirements.
• Prepare BRDs, FRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows and use cases.
• Translate business requirements into clear specifications for Engineering and QA teams.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineering throughout the SDLC.
• Identify product and process improvement opportunities and coordinate requirements across internal teams and technology partners.
• Support solution design, UAT planning, test scenarios and business validation.
• Manage requirement traceability, scope changes, dependencies, risks and stakeholder expectations.
• Assist with production issues through business impact analysis and coordinated resolution.

Required profile

• 4–6 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Senior Business Analyst.
• Strong experience in requirement gathering, functional analysis and documentation.
• Proven ability to translate complex business processes into clear technology requirements.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience working with Product and Engineering teams throughout the SDLC.
• Solid analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
