Senior BIM Technician – Lighting

About the role

We are looking for a Senior BIM Technician specialized in lighting to manage and develop BIM models across small to large‑scale projects. You will ensure seamless integration of lighting design within multidisciplinary BIM deliveries while adhering to ISO 19650 standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage BIM models for specialist lighting services and define drawing production strategies.
• Support BIM implementation of lighting design elements, creating custom Revit families and editable parameters.
• Maintain the Common Data Environment (CDE) to monitor deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.
• Assist BIM Leads with time estimation, costing, and alignment to project goals and budgets.
• Develop and update the BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and suggest efficient drawing/model production methods.
• Collaborate with architects, interior designers, and engineers to produce coordinated layouts, sections, details, and RCP drawings.
• Provide training and coaching to team members on Revit and CAD tools for lighting.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or Lighting Design.
• Hands‑on experience with AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks and Autodesk Construction Cloud.
• Proven experience delivering BIM support on multiple projects, both as a sole specialist and within a team.
• Familiarity with ISO 19650 standards, COBie data implementation, and classification systems in Revit.
