Senior BIM Designer – Bridges

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Designer specialized in BIM for bridges to join AECOM’s Enterprise Capabilities team in Bengaluru. The role involves working on global transportation projects, using Revit and AutoCAD to deliver high‑quality structural models and drawings.

Key responsibilities

• Undertake structural modelling and detailing on global bridge projects using Revit and AutoCAD, creating bridge models from scratch and preparing detailed drawings.
• Develop RC intent drawings and modify 3D BIM models for federated model development, ensuring compliance with AECOM standards.
• Review and monitor production of drawings to maintain quality, accuracy, and adherence to ISO 19650 or COBie standards.
• Maintain regular communication with regional leads and project leads to understand requirements and ensure timely delivery.
• Liaise with team managers, provide guidance to project teams, and foster a client‑focused culture.

Required profile

• Recognized Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in structural engineering modelling and detailing, with a focus on bridges.
• Proven expertise in 3D modelling using Revit Structures and AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in ProjectWise, BIM 360/ACC, and other industry‑standard collaboration tools.
• Strong understanding of structural engineering principles, construction sequencing, and ability to create custom families and templates.
• Fluent written and verbal English communication.
