Senior Bid Manager

About the role

The Senior Bid Manager based in India will support UK markets, leading the planning, management and delivery of complex, business‑critical bids. You will work closely with business leaders, capture managers and technical teams to ensure compliant, client‑focused submissions that align with win strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end management and delivery of complex bids, developing bid programmes, delivery plans and review schedules.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary contributors (technical, commercial, legal, quality) and manage content development, reviews, approvals and final submission production.
• Maintain version control, drive quality through structured review cycles and monitor progress, risks and dependencies.
• Support pursuit strategy, facilitate workshops on win themes, and ensure alignment between strategy and bid content.
• Coach and mentor junior bid professionals, contribute to team culture and capability‑building initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of bid/proposal management experience, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven track record of managing end‑to‑end bid lifecycles for business‑critical opportunities.
• Strong relationship‑building, communication and facilitation skills across geographies.
• Excellent attention to detail, organisational ability and problem‑solving mindset.
