Senior Azure DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer to lead the design, automation, and reliability of our cloud infrastructure. You will work closely with development, QA, operations, and security teams to deliver secure, scalable, and highly available services on Microsoft Azure.

Key responsibilities

• Lead large or complex client deployment and migration projects.
• Design, implement, and optimise CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps for multiple applications.
• Automate cloud infrastructure using ARM Templates, Terraform, or Bicep.
• Administer Azure DevOps components such as Repos, Pipelines, Boards, Test Plans, and Artifacts.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging with Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Grafana or ELK Stack.
• Embed security checks into pipelines and automate compliance validation (DevSecOps).
• Troubleshoot build, release, and deployment issues and drive continuous improvement.
• Mentor junior engineers, act as technical escalation point, and participate in 24x7 on‑call rotation.

Required profile

• 8+ years of professional DevOps experience, including at least 4 years focused on Microsoft Azure.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams and mentor junior staff.
• Experience with on‑call support and problem‑management processes.

Required skills

• Microsoft Azure and Azure DevOps (Repos, Pipelines, Boards, Test Plans, Artifacts).
• Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools: ARM Templates, Terraform, Bicep.
• Scripting languages: PowerShell, Bash, Python.
• Container technologies: Docker, Kubernetes, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Monitoring and observability: Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Grafana, ELK Stack.
• CI/CD pipeline design and implementation.
