Senior Auditor, Technology

About the role

LegalZoom’s Internal Audit team is seeking a Senior Auditor focused on Technology. In this remote position you will help ensure the integrity of the company’s technology‑driven financial reporting and operational controls while collaborating with teams across the United States and India.

Key responsibilities

• Execute Sarbanes‑Oxley (SOX) testing of design and operating effectiveness for technology‑related controls.
• Identify, assess, and document technology risks in a rapidly evolving environment.
• Perform assurance and advisory engagements for the Technology and Product organizations.
• Provide reasonable assurance on operational effectiveness, efficiency, and compliance with applicable laws.
• Collaborate with the Audit Committee and senior leadership to communicate findings and recommendations.
• Work a minimum of four overlapping hours with U.S. business hours (approximately 8:30 pm‑12:30 am IST).

Required profile

• Several years of experience in internal audit, technology risk, or related assurance functions.
• Strong understanding of SOX, internal control frameworks, and financial reporting processes.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and communicate effectively with global stakeholders.
• Willingness to align work schedule with U.S. business hours for collaboration.
