Senior Auditor

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Auditor to independently conduct credit audits of wholesale banking products such as working capital, SME, MEB and MIB. The role involves regular travel to client sites and close collaboration with various business units to ensure the safety and soundness of the bank.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, design and execute risk‑based audit programmes for wholesale credit products.
• Complete audit workpapers on time and document findings thoroughly.
• Track and report the status of audit issues, ensuring timely follow‑up and remediation.
• Maintain and update audit procedure manuals, checklists and best‑practice benchmarks.
• Develop audit checklists for internal and concurrent auditors and test products and processes for potential bottlenecks.
• Provide improvement recommendations to line management.
• Oversee the concurrent audit process, ensuring timely report submission, checklist updates, issue reviews and corrective actions.

Required profile

• Proven audit experience with working‑capital, SME, MEB or MIB products (retail exposure not required).
• Professional qualification such as CA or an MBA in Finance.
