Senior Auditor

About the role

Strategic Bureaux is seeking a Senior Auditor to join its Kozhikode office. The role involves leading audit engagements, assessing financial statements and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while working closely with clients and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and manage audit assignments from start to finish.
• Assess financial statements, evaluate internal controls and verify regulatory compliance.
• Prepare detailed audit reports and present actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with various departments to gather information and resolve audit issues.
• Mentor and guide junior auditors, fostering their professional development.
• Identify and drive process improvements within the audit function.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of auditing practices, internal controls and regulatory frameworks.
• Proficiency in accounting, financial analysis and financial statement preparation.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Effective project management experience handling multiple assignments and deadlines.
• Chartered Accountant (CA) Inter/CMA qualification or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in auditing or a similar role within professional services or financial consulting.
