Senior Associate – Transport Modelling (VISSIM) – Infrastructure & Resilience

About the role

PwC is looking for a Senior Associate to join its Infrastructure & Resilience Advisory team in Delhi. The role focuses on transport modelling, sustainability analysis and the development of data‑driven solutions for clients in the transport and infrastructure sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, calibrate and validate demand models using VISUM and microsimulation tools such as VISSIM or Aimsun.
• Run traffic simulations to assess existing and proposed transportation systems.
• Analyse simulation results to identify bottlenecks, flow patterns and improvement opportunities.
• Support clients in integrating sustainability considerations into transport strategies.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations for senior stakeholders.

Required profile

• Senior‑associate level with 4‑6 years of experience in transport planning or modelling.
• Degree in Civil Engineering, Transport Engineering, Urban Planning or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
