Senior Associate – SOC & Identity Management (Advisory)

About the role

At PwC, the cybersecurity team protects organisations from threats through advanced technologies and strategies. As a Senior Associate in SOC and Identity Management Advisory, you will deliver comprehensive security solutions across multiple domains, ensuring client systems and data remain secure.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage consulting teams to deliver cybersecurity and risk management services.
• Communicate technical information clearly to varied audiences and articulate complex issues.
• Analyze scan reports and propose remediation plans for identified vulnerabilities.
• Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments on web, mobile, and network assets.

• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a motivated self‑starter.
• Detail‑oriented, methodical, and assertive in delivering solutions.

Required skills

• Web and Mobile Application Security Testing
• Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing
• Tools: Qualys, HP Fortify, IBM Appscan, Burp Suite, Kali Linux, Nessus, Metasploit
• Mobile reverse engineering for Android and iOS platforms
• Knowledge of OWASP Top 10 and network security technologies (firewall, IPS, VPN, proxy, web filtering)
• Scripting languages: Perl, Python, Shell
• Familiarity with CVE/CERT advisories and OSSTMM methodology
• Certifications: CEH, ECSA, LPT (any one); preferred OSCP, OSWE
