Senior Associate – Smart Metering (iGT – EU&R Advisory)

About the role

PwC is seeking a Senior Associate to join its iGT team within the Energy Utility and Resources practice. The role focuses on smart‑metering and smart‑grid solutions, helping clients in the power sector navigate climate and energy transition challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Provide consulting services on climate change mitigation, adaptation, energy efficiency and renewable energy solutions.
• Analyse client needs and develop strategies to reduce greenhouse‑gas emissions and support low‑carbon transitions.
• Design and manage operational improvement and capital‑investment projects, including smart‑grid and metering implementations.
• Advise on operating models, digital solutions and data‑driven decision making to improve business performance.
• Collaborate with governments, regulators, utilities, development agencies and investors on policy and regulatory frameworks.

Required profile

• Senior‑associate level with experience in energy, utilities or sustainability consulting.
• Strong analytical abilities and experience delivering client‑focused projects.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
• Demonstrated interest in climate and energy transition topics.
