Senior Associate – SAP ABAP (ECC & S/4HANA)

About the role

PwC is seeking a Senior Associate with deep SAP ABAP expertise to join its Advisory delivery centre in Bhubaneswar. You will design, develop and deliver SAP solutions across ECC and S/4HANA environments, supporting clients in achieving operational efficiency and strategic goals.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain RICEF objects – Reports (ALV/Classical), Interfaces (ALE/IDoc, BAPI), Conversions (LSMW/BDC), Enhancements (User Exits, BADI, Enhancement Spots, BTE), RAP and Forms (SAPScript, Smartforms, Adobe Forms).
• Deliver high‑quality ABAP objects independently and conduct peer code reviews to ensure standards.
• Collaborate with functional and technical teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Mentor junior associates, guide best‑practice coding, and support performance‑optimization initiatives.
• Participate in testing, debugging, and documentation of delivered components.

Required profile

• Minimum 4‑5 years of hands‑on SAP ABAP development experience, preferably in both ECC and S/4HANA.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to work independently on complex tasks.
• Proven experience mentoring junior team members.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with cross‑functional teams and clients.
