Senior Associate – Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer

About the role

PwC is seeking a seasoned Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer to join its Advisory practice in Gurugram. The role focuses on designing, building and optimizing marketing campaign solutions on the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform, helping clients improve user engagement and achieve strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement end‑to‑end marketing journeys, email templates, SMS/MMS and push notifications using Marketing Cloud components such as Cloud Pages, Email Studio, Social Studio, Advertising Studio, Journey Builder and Audience Builder.
• Develop and debug custom solutions with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Ampscript, and create data extensions and segmentation criteria using SQL scripts.
• Conduct A/B testing, analyze campaign performance, provide ROI insights to stakeholders and support ongoing campaign improvements, bug fixes and reporting.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specifications and ensure seamless integration with the Salesforce data model.

Required profile

• 5‑10 years of experience delivering marketing campaign solutions on Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
• Strong background in software development with proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and SQL.
• Deep knowledge of the Salesforce platform, its data model, and Marketing Cloud best practices.
• Proven ability to design user‑friendly interfaces, define segmentation, and conduct performance testing.
