Senior Associate – Private Equity & Credit Modelling

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Senior Associate to join our Private Equity and Private Credit financial modelling team operating across Gurgaon, Pune and Bangalore. The role involves handling fund valuations, tracking commitments and delivering analytical reports to investors.

Key responsibilities

• Track quarterly valuations from capital accounts and roll forward valuations using cash‑flow notices.
• Capture fund valuation data such as investment cost, realized/unrealized value, multiples, IRR and key financial KPIs.
• Prepare quarterly performance reports for investors, including NAV, DVPI, TVPI, IRRs and capital account details.
• Analyse private‑equity fund performance through fund literature and financial reports.
• Calculate fund multiples and IRRs, perform attribution and value‑creation analysis.
• Manage client relationships and deliver required outputs on a daily to quarterly basis.
• Identify and implement process‑improvement techniques to boost team productivity.

Required profile

• MBA or other postgraduate/professional degree from a reputable institute.
• Strong knowledge of private‑equity, fund‑of‑funds and financial‑services industry trends.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and client‑facing skills.
• Ability to take ownership of projects and meet timelines.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with financial databases such as CapIQ and Preqin.
