Senior Associate IS Engineer – WINTEL Operations

About the role

This role supports day-to-day operation and maintenance of server systems and infrastructure for Amgen’s biotechnology business. The engineer will monitor, patch, automate and troubleshoot Windows Server environments while collaborating with global teams.

Key responsibilities

• Administer, monitor and support Windows Server(s).
• Maintain server security and compliance standards.
• Monitor server health and generate routine reports.
• Perform patching, updates and backups to ensure compliance.
• Support incident resolution and troubleshooting.
• Document changes and standard operating procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with 4-6 years of experience, or Master’s with 2-4 years, or Diploma with 7+ years.
• Experience with Windows server operations and virtualization technologies such as VMware or Acropolis.
• Basic scripting knowledge in PowerShell, Ansible or Python.
• Familiarity with ITIL or incident-management workflows and change-management processes.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
