Senior Associate IAM Engineer – Strategy & Governance

About the role

PwC is seeking a senior experienced leader with a technical background in Identity & Access Management to lead a team that supports critical IAM processes across the organization. The role involves platform operations, service health maintenance, vendor management, and strategic delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Own and run end‑to‑end IAM operations delivering reliable, secure identity services across workforce and non‑human identities.
• Lead IAM service delivery, automation and self‑service, managing the identity lifecycle (joiner‑mover‑leaver) and access fulfillment workflows.
• Run ITSM‑aligned operations including incident, problem, change, request and knowledge management with clear escalation paths.
• Oversee operational stability of IAM platforms such as SSO/MFA, directories, IGA and related APIs/connectors.
• Lead audit and compliance execution for access controls, evidence collection and recertification.

Required profile

• 8‑12 years of experience in IAM or identity platform operations, with at least 5 years leading teams.
• Proven experience operating IAM services at enterprise scale and managing third‑party vendors.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to communicate complex technical matters to senior leadership.

Required skills

• IAM platforms (SSO, MFA, IGA, directories).
• ITSM tools and processes (incident, problem, change, request management).
• Automation workflows, APIs and orchestration for self‑service.
• Security monitoring tools (SIEM, logging, anomaly detection).
• Privileged access management controls.
