Senior Associate – Finance Transformation (Advisory)

About the role

PwC is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Finance Transformation Advisory team in Pune. The role focuses on helping clients redesign their finance operating models, improve processes and embed digital technologies to drive performance.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse current finance operating models (P2P, O2C, RTR, FP&A, Tax & Treasury) and identify gaps, risks and inefficiencies.
• Lead workshops with client stakeholders to map processes, define RACI, SLAs and design future-state solutions.
• Develop and implement finance transformation initiatives, including change management and talent development.
• Advise on the selection and deployment of core ERP systems, financial consolidation tools and data‑analytics platforms.
• Apply emerging “Finance in a Digital World” technologies such as GenAI, AI, advanced analytics and automation to innovate client finance processes.

Required profile

• Senior Associate level with solid experience in finance transformation or advisory.
• Strong understanding of end‑to‑end finance processes and associated controls.
• Proven ability to conduct and lead stakeholder workshops.
• Experience with finance‑focused digital tools and change‑management programmes.
