Senior Associate – Finance Operations

About the role

Riveron is looking for a detail‑oriented Senior Associate in Finance Operations to support U.S. accounting and finance activities for its Indian team. The role involves month‑end close, technical accounting schedules, and financial reporting for U.S. entities while working closely with U.S. and India time zones.

Key responsibilities

• Drive month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end close processes in Oracle NetSuite, maintaining GL hygiene and performing balance‑sheet flux analysis.
• Own complex accounting schedules such as intangible and goodwill amortization, lease and accrual accounting.
• Execute and review bank, intercompany and general‑ledger reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
• Review U.S. state and local tax filings, coordinate with external tax advisors, and manage 1099 contractor reporting.
• Oversee intercompany validations, eliminations, cross‑border funding transfers and Transfer Pricing calculations.
• Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation for statutory, tax and internal audits.

Required profile

• 3–4 years of experience in U.S. accounting, financial reporting or audit, preferably in a Global Capability Center or U.S.‑focused financial services environment.
• MBA (Finance), M.Com or semi‑qualified CA.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, core GL accounting and month‑end close mechanics.
• Excellent communication, leadership and ability to work across U.S. and India time zones.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookup formulas, financial modeling, variance/flux analysis).
• Hands‑on experience with an ERP system, preferably Oracle NetSuite.
