Senior Associate – ESG Sustainability & Climate Advisory

About the role

PWC is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Sustainability Strategy & Transformation practice in Gurugram. You will work on ESG and climate‑energy advisory projects, helping large organisations design and implement decarbonisation pathways and sustainability strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Support clients in developing ESG strategies, from carbon accounting to circular business models.
• Lead GHG emissions assessments (Scope 1, 2, 3) and identify reduction opportunities.
• Advise on decarbonisation technologies, carbon markets and net‑zero roadmaps for sectors such as TMT, automotive, industrials and consumer products.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver sustainability transformation projects.
• Maintain relationships within the sustainability ecosystem and contribute to PwC’s ESG Platform.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of GHG accounting (Scope 1, 2, 3) and decarbonisation technologies.
• Hands‑on experience delivering GHG reduction initiatives.
• Technical background in net‑zero strategy across multiple industries.
• Proven experience leading project teams.
• Established network in the sustainability ecosystem.
• High ambition and drive to shape ESG transformation.
