Senior Associate – Control Testing, Transaction Banking

About the role

The Senior Associate will strengthen the control environment of the Institutional Transaction Banking division. You will partner with control owners to execute the Control Self‑Assessment (CSA) programme, identify control gaps and drive data‑driven remediation across products, processes and value chains.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and execute risk‑based control monitoring and testing activities for assigned transaction‑banking products.
• Assess control design adequacy and operating effectiveness using data‑driven methodologies.
• Facilitate CSA outcomes with accountable control owners and document findings.
• Ensure all activities comply with enterprise risk standards, governance requirements and regulatory expectations.
• Maintain high‑quality documentation, evidence management and audit‑ready records.

Required profile

• Experience in control testing, risk assessment or non‑financial risk within a banking or financial services environment.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with control owners, business stakeholders and risk experts.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on root‑cause remediation and continuous improvement.
