Senior Associate – Carbon/Green Hydrogen – Decarbonization Advisory

About the role

PwC is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Decarbonization Advisory team in Gurugram. The role focuses on carbon and green hydrogen projects, helping clients navigate the transition to low‑carbon economies.

Key responsibilities

• Support the delivery of advisory services on carbon reduction and green hydrogen strategies for large, complex organisations.
• Conduct market and regulatory analysis to identify opportunities and risks related to decarbonisation.
• Develop business cases, financial models and implementation road‑maps for clients.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to unlock data insights and drive innovative solutions.
• Assist in business development activities and maintain client relationships.

Required profile

• Minimum 3‑5 years of experience in consulting, energy, or sustainability advisory.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and client‑facing skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Required skills

• Knowledge of carbon markets, green hydrogen technologies and decarbonisation frameworks.
• Experience with data analysis and financial modelling.
