Senior Associate – Automation Tester (Digital Integration Advisory)

About the role

At PwC, our people in business application consulting specialise in consulting services for a variety of business applications, helping clients optimise operational efficiency. As a business application consulting generalist, you will provide consulting services for a wide range of business applications, leveraging a broad understanding of various software solutions to assist clients in analysis, implementation, training and support.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain automated test suites for UI, APIs and backend systems.
• Design and implement automation solutions powered by AI and machine learning.
• Understand requirements and design effective test scenarios and comprehensive test cases.
• Execute functional, regression, load and performance tests and report defects.
• Maintain detailed documentation of test cases, results and metrics.
• Build and maintain test automation frameworks and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with test leads, developers, business analysts and other stakeholders to resolve issues.

Required profile

• 4‑7 years of relevant experience in test automation.
• BTech/BE/MTech degree from a recognised institution.
• ISTQB Foundation Level, ISTQB Advanced Test Analyst and ISTQB Test Automation Engineering certifications.
• SAFe Agile certification (preferred).

Required skills

• API tools such as Postman and Rest Assured.
• Automation frameworks: Playwright, Selenium WebDriver, Selenium Grid.
• Programming in C# or Java (preferred languages for Selenium).
• Experience with LLM models and RAGAs framework for test‑automation.
• TestNG, JUnit, NUnit, PyTest/UnitTest.
• HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• Version control with Git.
• CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Bamboo, GitLab CI.
• Azure DevOps, JIRA for defect tracking.
• RESTful services testing.
• Basic SQL for data validation.
• Cross‑browser testing and performance testing tools (JMeter, MS LoadTest).
• Mobile testing tools: Appium, Espresso, XCUITest.
• Agile methodology exposure.
