Senior Analyst – Record to Report (RTR)

About the role

Invesco is seeking a Senior Analyst to join its Record‑to‑Report (RTR) team. The role supports general accounting, internal controls, and revenue reporting for North America and Asia‑Pacific, ensuring accurate financial statements in line with US GAAP.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and record journal entries in the General Ledger promptly and accurately.
• Perform monthly, quarterly and annual variance analysis of balance‑sheet and P&L accounts.
• Prepare balance‑sheet reconciliations and post correcting journal entries.
• Research and summarize drivers for variances and compile consolidated reports.
• Extract and analyse data from systems such as Oracle and HFM/SmartView.
• Provide financial schedules for auditors and support Sarbanes‑Oxley (SOX) compliance.
• Document and update desktop procedures and identify continuous‑improvement opportunities.
• Participate in special projects under the direction of senior management.

Required profile

• 4‑6 years of accounting experience, specifically in Record‑to‑Report processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting or Finance.
• Knowledge of US GAAP and SOX internal‑control requirements.
• Experience with accounting and financial systems, preferably Oracle.
• Strong teamwork, communication and time‑management skills.
