Senior Analyst – Planning

About the role

A Senior Analyst – Planning at Flex will process planning orders quickly and accurately in a fast‑paced environment, providing excellent stakeholder service and collaborating with teams to meet challenging performance targets.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expertise and support to the Customer Focus Team, ensuring materials planning for specific projects and achieving on‑time kit delivery.
• Generate and analyze material shortage reports, manage excess and obsolete inventory, and handle work order and inventory management.
• Support new NPI accounts, communicate with customers, and protect Flex’s business interests.
• Run weekly system reports to identify material shortages and work with the buying team to close gaps.
• Analyze material and capacity availability based on customer demand and develop aggressive yet achievable loading schedules.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 2+ years of experience in planning or supply‑chain functions (not mandatory but preferred).
• Knowledge of planning tools such as Kinaxis and ERP/P2P systems (BAAN, SAP, Oracle).
• Understanding of engineering BOMs, product structures, EOL/ECO processes, and the full planning cycle (MPS, MRP, demand, materials, production).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Engineering BOMs and product structure knowledge.
• Planning methodologies – MPS, MRP, demand planning, materials planning, production planning.
