Senior Analyst / Analyst, KYB Operations

About the role

Transak is seeking a KYB Analyst to conduct due diligence on business customers, ensuring regulatory compliance and assessing risk profiles. This full‑time remote position supports the onboarding of financial applications worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct end‑to‑end KYB checks, verifying company registration documents, licenses, and corporate filings.
• Identify and validate Ultimate Beneficial Owners (UBOs) and map complex ownership structures.
• Screen businesses and associated individuals against sanctions, PEP, and adverse media databases.
• Assess risk profiles based on jurisdiction, industry, ownership, and transaction behavior.
• Review flagged accounts, perform enhanced due diligence, and remediate alerts.
• Escalate high‑risk or suspicious entities and support regulatory reporting.
• Maintain thorough documentation and audit trails for all KYB decisions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, Law, or related field.
• Strong analytical and investigative skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced startup environment.
• Prior experience in KYB/KYC/AML operations; crypto or Web3 experience is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in screening users and entities against sanctions, PEP, and adverse media databases.
• Knowledge of UBO identification and ownership structures.
• Understanding of global regulatory requirements for business verification.
• Experience with transaction monitoring and alert remediation.
