Senior Analyst, Accounting & Reporting

About the role

The Senior Analyst, Accounting & Reporting will own the full spectrum of financial integrity for the Mumbai business, ensuring accurate US GAAP reporting, robust SOX controls, and seamless day‑to‑day accounting operations. You will partner with local business directors to deliver monthly financial decks, quarterly reports and annual 10‑K submissions that drive strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Reconcile balance‑sheet and bank accounts, and follow up on open items.
• Maintain US GAAP compliance and enforce SOX‑aligned internal controls.
• Execute intercompany transactions, cash application and net‑ting processes for ICO customers and vendors.
• Post rule‑based journal entries and manage the end‑to‑end month‑end close in coordination with local teams.
• Prepare and present monthly financial decks and quarterly/annual reporting packages.
• Respond to audit queries and ensure timely resolution.
• Review and update SOPs, recommending improvements in consultation with stakeholders.
• Participate in standardisation, continuous‑improvement and business‑partner initiatives.

Required profile

• Working knowledge of US GAAP and monthly financial reporting.
• Experience with SOX compliance and internal control maintenance.
• Proven ability to manage intercompany transactions and month‑end close activities.
• Strong collaboration skills with local business and finance teams.
• Attention to detail and ability to resolve audit queries promptly.
