Senior Analyst – Account to Report

About the role

The Finance and Accounting team at Johnson & Johnson seeks a Senior Analyst to manage end‑to‑end accounting processes for the Balance Sheet and Income Statement. The role involves creating sales and purchase orders, reconciling balances, monitoring ageing, and driving process standardisation.

Key responsibilities

• Timely closing and execution of financial periods in line with SLA commitments and SOX requirements.
• Perform balance‑sheet reconciliations, ensure completeness and accuracy of reported actuals.
• Support auditors and legal authorities to achieve adequate internal and external audit ratings.
• Provide on‑the‑job training for new team members and partners.
• Identify compliance risks, recommend solutions, and drive continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional finance/accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in accountancy; MBA/CA or part‑qualified Chartered Accountant preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Flexibility to work in different shifts to support global services.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel.
• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
• Knowledge of US GAAP accounting principles.
