Senior Analyst – Account to Report

About the role

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Senior Analyst for the Account to Report function within its Finance and Accounting team in Bangalore. The role focuses on accurate accounting, balance‑sheet and income‑statement processing, and driving process standardisation.

Key responsibilities

• Close financial periods on time, adhering to SLA commitments, SOX and internal audit requirements.
• Ensure completeness, accuracy and validity of reported actuals within the process scope.
• Perform balance‑sheet reconciliations, monitor ageing, and resolve accounting issues.
• Support auditors and legal authorities to achieve adequate audit ratings.
• Provide on‑the‑job training for new team members and partners.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives and document global processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of professional finance/accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field; MBA/CA preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Flexibility to work different shifts and adapt to global service requirements.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
• Knowledge of US GAAP accounting principles.
