Senior AI/ML Engineer – Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Senior AI/ML Engineer to lead the design, development, and operation of production‑grade AI and Generative AI solutions for enterprise customers. The role combines deep AI/ML expertise with strong software‑engineering discipline to deliver end‑to‑end systems that are secure, scalable, and observable.

Key responsibilities

• Own AI/ML and GenAI solutions end‑to‑end, including data pipelines, model and prompt workflows, APIs, evaluation, deployment, observability and continuous optimization.
• Design and implement enterprise Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) platforms with secure ingestion, chunking, embeddings, hybrid/vector search and access‑aware retrieval.
• Build production‑grade agentic systems with tool/function calling, multi‑agent orchestration, human‑in‑the‑loop approvals and auditable traces.
• Architect and operate Model Context Protocol (MCP) clients and servers, ensuring secure transports, authentication, tenant isolation and protection against prompt injection.
• Integrate AI agents with enterprise systems such as document repositories, source control, ticketing, ERP/CRM and cloud services via reusable connectors.
• Define evaluation strategies and quality gates for accuracy, safety, latency and cost, and implement end‑to‑end observability.
• Develop production services in Python using GitHub‑based CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes and infrastructure‑as‑code on AWS or Azure.
• Lead design reviews, mentor engineers and collaborate with product, security and business stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• 5–9 years of experience delivering production software, data, ML or AI solutions, including Generative AI/LLM applications.
• Hands‑on experience with Model Context Protocol (MCP) as both client and server.
• Current AWS AI/ML or Microsoft Azure AI certification.

• Advanced Python programming.
• Data/ML libraries: pandas, NumPy, scikit‑learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow.
• Cloud platforms: AWS or Azure.
• Containerization and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, infrastructure‑as‑code.
• Version control and CI/CD: Git/GitHub, automated build, test and security scans.
• Model Context Protocol (MCP) implementation and security.
• LLM/GenAI frameworks: OpenAI Agents SDK, LangChain, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, LlamaIndex, Amazon Bedrock Agents, Azure AI Foundry Agent Service.
• Vector search technologies: pgvector, Pinecone, Weaviate, Milvus, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, Azure AI Search, Amazon OpenSearch.
• MLOps/LLMOps tools: MLflow.
• SQL and data modeling.
