Senior Accounting Associate – General Ledger

About the role

Pwc is looking for an experienced Senior Accounting Associate to join its Managed Services team supporting a leading real‑estate and mortgage‑servicing client. The role focuses on high‑quality accounting processes, financial close, and reporting within a complex financial‑services environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations and consolidations.
• Prepare and review financial statements and management reports for accuracy and compliance.
• Support audit engagements by providing documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
• Identify opportunities for process automation and digital enablement using Workday Financials.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure alignment with regulatory and internal control requirements.

Required profile

• 4‑7 years of progressive accounting experience, combining public‑accounting and enterprise controllership exposure.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Demonstrated analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build client relationships.
