Senior Accounting Analyst – R2R Expertise (Disability Inclusive)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Accounting Analyst with strong Record‑to‑Report (R2R) experience to join our Bengaluru team. The role focuses on analyzing, interpreting and recording financial transactions while ensuring compliance with US GAAP, IFRS and SEC regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and record financial transactions and prepare detailed reports.
• Research accounting issues, reference US GAAP pronouncements and apply company policies.
• Own specific components of the consolidated balance sheet and income statement during month‑end close.
• Perform complex account reconciliations and journal entries.
• Develop, document and maintain accounting procedures, ensuring SOX 404 compliance.
• Prepare quarterly and annual reporting packages for SEC filings.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve queries and support special projects.
• Identify financial risk areas and propose mitigation strategies.

Required profile

• 8+ years of accounting experience with a bachelor’s degree (or 6+ years with an advanced degree).
• Professional certification such as CA, ACCA or CPA, preferably with public‑company or audit‑firm exposure.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS and SEC reporting requirements.
• Proficiency with Oracle (or similar) ERP systems.
• Advanced Excel for data analysis.
• Experience with SOX 404 compliance processes.
