Senior Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Accountant with experience in a Chartered Accountant (CA) firm. The role involves managing financial records, taxation, compliance and audit‑related activities while ensuring accuracy and adherence to statutory regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and manage books of accounts, journal entries, and ledger reconciliations.
• Handle GST, TDS, Income Tax returns, and other statutory filings.
• Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss reports.
• Assist in internal and statutory audits, including documentation and compliance.
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor financial transactions.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing processes and coordinate with clients, auditors, and internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) / M.Com or CA Inter (preferred).
• Hands‑on experience working in a CA firm or accounting consultancy.
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax and statutory compliance.

Required skills

• Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, Zoho Books, or similar tools.
• Good understanding of financial reporting and auditing processes.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
