About the role
We are seeking a Senior Accountant to manage statutory compliance, tax, bookkeeping and financial reporting for our power and steel operations in New Delhi.
Key responsibilities
- Statutory compliance & taxation: oversee GST management, GST reconciliation, TDS compliance and support tax audits.
- General bookkeeping & core accounting: maintain the general ledger, perform bank reconciliations, manage accounts payable/receivable and handle month‑end closing.
- Financial reporting & management: prepare balance sheets, profit & loss statements, cash‑flow reports and generate MIS reports for management.
Required profile
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Inter‑CA or Inter‑CMA.
- Experience: 3‑4 years of relevant accounting/finance experience.
- Knowledge: strong, up‑to‑date understanding of Indian Income Tax and GST laws.
Required skills
- Advanced proficiency in Tally Prime, QuickBooks, Zoho Books or ERP systems such as SAP/Oracle.
- Advanced MS Excel skills including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
- Exceptional analytical ability and high attention to detail.
