Senior Accountant

About the role

Honorvet Technologies Pvt Ltd is looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant to lead its financial operations. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for accurate reporting, regulatory compliance, and supporting strategic financial planning. This role works night shift from 6:30 PM to 3:30 AM IST, Monday‑Friday, at our Mohali office.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily bookkeeping and maintain accurate accounts.
• Prepare and present monthly and annual financial statements.
• Ensure timely filing of direct and indirect tax returns, including GST and TDS.
• Supervise payroll processing and ensure compliance with labor laws and tax regulations.
• Prepare, monitor and analyse annual and monthly budgets, recommending corrective actions.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and implement robust internal controls.
• Evaluate existing financial processes and recommend improvements for efficiency and accuracy.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant qualification with proven experience in accounting and finance.
• Strong knowledge of Indian tax laws, especially GST and TDS.
• Experience in payroll processing and compliance.
• Ability to prepare financial statements, budgets and perform variance analysis.
• Experience coordinating audits and implementing internal controls.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
