Senior Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our global finance team. You will be responsible for preparing monthly accounting records, supporting month‑end and year‑end close, and delivering accurate financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and enter journal entries and maintain the chart of accounts.
• Perform balance‑sheet reconciliations and support month‑end/year‑end close processes.
• Analyze financial status, produce profit and loss statements, and generate special financial reports.
• Recommend financial actions, identify errors, and suggest efficiency improvements.
• Review and enhance accounting systems and procedures in collaboration with cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Develop and document business processes to ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
• Stay current with federal, state, and local regulations and advise management on compliance actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• Proven ability to work in a fast‑paced environment handling multiple tasks.
• Strong communication, organization, planning and time‑management skills.
• High ethical standards, integrity and accountability.
• Experience in manufacturing, technology or multinational organizations, preferably in a shared‑service environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience with Oracle implementation, process automation and internal‑control design.
• Knowledge of revenue recognition, fixed‑asset accounting and intercompany accounting.
