Senior Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a reliable and detail‑oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team at SLMB Ventures LLP in Dhenkanal. The role involves managing day‑to‑day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting management with actionable financial insights.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting activities, including accounts payable and receivable.
• Prepare, review and finalize monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Perform bank, ledger and inventory reconciliations to guarantee accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations and statutory requirements.
• Handle GST, TDS and other statutory filings and documentation.
• Assist in budget preparation, forecasting and financial planning.
• Conduct financial analysis and generate reports for management.
• Coordinate with auditors, consultants and internal teams during audits and reviews.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely closing of accounts.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting and taxation.
• Hands‑on experience with Tally and Microsoft Excel (mandatory).
• Familiarity with accounting software and financial systems.
• Ability to prepare and analyse financial statements independently.
• High attention to detail and strong problem‑solving abilities.
