Senior Accountant – Fixed Asset

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its global Intercompany team. You will be responsible for managing intercompany settlements, reconciliations, and monthly reporting while supporting transfer pricing and service‑fee accounting.

Key responsibilities

• Execute intercompany processes, including settlement, global reconciliation, and monthly reporting.
• Handle transfer pricing and service‑fee accounting across regions.
• Collaborate with Tax, Treasury, and Controllership to determine settlement methods and enforce accountability.
• Maintain service‑level agreements, performance targets, and measure results.
• Partner with regional teams and financial‑system owners to implement local reporting requirements.
• Identify automation opportunities, drive efficiency improvements, and track progress.
• Provide guidance to regions and business units, perform or review account reconciliations, and support SOX compliance.
• Perform other duties as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CA preferred.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and current accounting concepts.
• Experience in intercompany processing and accounting, preferably in a large global environment.
• Proven ability to lead process‑improvement initiatives.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize under tight deadlines.
