Senior Accountant – Financial Reporting & Analysis

About the role

ETSETS is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its Finance team in India. The role focuses on preparing accurate financial statements, performing complex reconciliations, and supporting system implementations and audits.

Key responsibilities

• Produce monthly financial statements in accordance with GAAP for senior management review.
• Prepare quarterly and year‑end reports as required.
• Perform complex reconciliations of general ledger accounts and resolve reconciling items.
• Create and post monthly journal entries.
• Document and maintain accounting procedures for assigned areas.
• Identify system enhancements and collaborate with IT to automate processes.
• Prepare balance‑sheet fluctuation analyses and provide supporting documentation.
• Assist auditors, clients, and internal departments with analytical schedules and inquiries.
• Participate in departmental projects and other assigned duties.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Experience with large‑scale enterprise accounting systems.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively across finance and other functions.
• Results‑oriented mindset with ownership of deliverables.
