Senior Accountant – Finance & Reporting

About the role

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for capturing financial activities and ensuring accurate reporting on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Working within Lowe's Pro Services Accounting team, you will apply GAAP knowledge and strong analytical judgment to maintain reliable accounting records.

Key responsibilities

• Execute accounting activities in compliance with GAAP and internal policies.
• Perform timely month‑end close, including fixed‑asset sub‑ledger accounting.
• Conduct variance analysis and prepare balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies, highlighting issues to support accurate financial reporting.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and operations teams to ensure smooth execution of accounting processes.
• Manage small projects aimed at improving reporting efficiency.

Required profile

• Professional accounting qualification or equivalent experience.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Ability to work independently and exercise sound accounting judgment.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork orientation.
