About the role

We are hiring a Senior Accountant in Ahmedabad. The role involves managing invoices, preparing financial entries, ensuring GST and tax compliance, and coordinating with auditors and consultants.

Key responsibilities

  • Entry and verification of purchase and expense invoices against POs and GRNs.
  • Prepare and post year‑end closing and adjustment entries, including GST, TDS, depreciation, and provisions.
  • Monthly preparation of GST returns (GSTR‑1, GSTR‑3B, GSTR‑2B) and yearly filings (GSTR‑9, GSTR‑9C).
  • Manage TDS payments and quarterly TDS return filings.
  • Assist in statutory audits, income‑tax return preparation, tax audit work, advance tax calculations, and 26AS reconciliations.
  • Handle personal accounts and coordinate with consultants for audits and tax filings.

Required profile

  • Graduation or Inter CA qualification.
  • 4 to 5 years of relevant experience in accounting and tax compliance.

Required skills

  • Proficiency with accounting and financial software.
  • Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and income‑tax regulations.
  • Expertise in preparing and reconciling financial statements.
