Security Officer

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Security Officer to join our hospitality team in Kochi, India. You will help create a safe and welcoming environment for guests and staff while acting as a visible deterrent to unauthorized activity.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol assigned indoor and outdoor areas, maintaining a high‑visibility presence.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, security incidents, and provide first‑aid or CPR when needed.
• Operate alarm systems, video cameras, and other security detection equipment with precision.
• Prepare accurate written reports documenting incidents, observations, and security concerns.
• Prevent loss and damage by identifying irregularities, informing violators of policies, and restraining trespassers when necessary.
• Conduct traffic control, property patrols, and assist with accident investigations.
• Collaborate with other departments to promote a safe and inclusive workplace.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of experience in a public‑contact role, preferably in upscale hospitality or corporate settings.
• Proven experience as a security officer or guard.
• Knowledge of Indian security regulations and legal guidelines.
• Strong observation, analytical, and report‑writing abilities.
• Fluent English communication skills (read, write, speak).
