Security Officer

About the role

The Security Officer is responsible for maintaining safety and order across Cybercity roads, buildings, and key traffic points. The role involves routine patrols, incident response, coordination with law‑enforcement agencies, and support for building teams during emergencies and events.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct routine patrols throughout Cybercity roads and buildings and report observations to the appropriate authorities.
• Monitor and report unauthorized land encroachments within the Cybercity area.
• Oversee heavy traffic management at Shankar Chowk and other critical locations during peak hours.
• Respond to accident sites (average 4‑5 per day), clear vehicles, and prevent road obstructions.
• Assist building teams with incident response, VIP movements, events, and security drills.
• Coordinate CCTV/footage queries with Law Enforcement Agencies.
• Prepare incident reports, conduct internal audits, and support mock drills when the Building Security Officer is absent.
• Consolidate and process lost‑and‑found records, hand over items to clients, and authorize gate passes.
• Maintain clear communication with the client’s Single Point of Contact regarding security concerns, staffing needs, and recommendations.
• Conduct surprise checks during odd hours to ensure ground‑team alertness.
• Develop and maintain liaison with local police, fire services, and other government agencies.
