Security Officer

About the role

The Security Officer is responsible for safeguarding personnel, materials, and overseeing the movement of assets. The role involves preventing theft, conducting investigations, and producing comprehensive security reports.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure the security of all staff and materials, supervising material movements.
• Prevent theft, investigate incidents, and generate detailed reports.
• Execute all security activities and share digital security reports.
• Carry out tasks assigned by the CSO/Head of Security and monitor their completion.
• Liaise with local village leadership, vendors, police, and administrative bodies as required.
• Conduct security mock drills according to schedule.
• Train, brief, and manage contract security personnel.
• Maintain vigilance while working in shifts.

Required profile

• Willingness to work in rotating shifts.
• Preferred proficiency in fire‑fighting techniques and use of fire equipment.
• Preferred knowledge of Gujarati language.
• Strong understanding of ISO, QMS, ISMS standards and audit processes.

Required skills

• Operation and monitoring of CCTV systems.
• Experience with GMS (Gate Management Systems).
• Familiarity with PIDS (Perimeter Intrusion Detection Systems).
• Knowledge of ISO, QMS, ISMS audit procedures.
• Fire‑fighting equipment handling (preferred).
