Security Officer – Guarding Services in Hyderabad

About the role

Equity Security Services is seeking experienced Security Officers to join its team in Shapur Nagar, Hyderabad. The role involves protecting people and property, maintaining a safe environment, and responding promptly to any security incidents.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol the premises to ensure a secure environment.
• Inspect buildings and access points, detecting and addressing potential breaches.
• Control site entry, allowing only authorized personnel and visitors.
• Respond swiftly to alarms and incidents, coordinating with local authorities when required.
• Maintain accurate logs and reports of daily activities and incidents.
• Enforce security policies and procedures to prevent unauthorized access.
• Provide courteous customer service while addressing security concerns.
• Conduct security training and briefings for staff as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to identify and mitigate security risks.
• Ensure security equipment and systems are operational, reporting any malfunctions.

Required profile

• 1 to 6 years of experience in security guarding or a similar role.
• All education levels are accepted; relevant security training or certifications are a plus.
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication abilities.
• Ability to remain calm and efficient during emergencies.
• Physically fit to perform patrols and monitoring duties.
• Reliable, trustworthy, and committed to maintaining security.
• Flexibility to work various shifts.
