Security Officer – 180-acre Site

About the role

The Security Officer will be responsible for safeguarding a 180‑acre site in Kadur, Karnataka. You will lead a team of guards, coordinate with local authorities, and ensure the protection of all assets, including pumps, pipelines, buildings and solar installations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan duty rosters, shifts and patrol routes for all security guards across the site.
• Conduct daily briefings, assign posts, share intelligence and verify guard appearance.
• Perform perimeter checks, maintain fencing, gates and boundary markers, and address breaches immediately.
• Manage visitor, vehicle and material registers, verify identities and control access.
• Document incidents such as trespassing, theft or fire with photos, timestamps and actions taken.
• Liaise with Police, Panchayat, CHESCOM, Revenue, Survey, Forest and Agriculture departments for land records, approvals and issue resolution.
• Maintain good relations with neighboring farmers, monitor labor movement and prevent unauthorized activities.
• Maintain attendance, patrol logs, incident reports and ensure compliance with PF/ESI, wage rules and PSARA guidelines.
• Act as first responder for fire, medical emergencies, snake bites or law‑and‑order situations.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in security operations, preferably in estates or industrial land.
• Ex‑servicemen preferred.
• Fluency in Kannada and Hindi with basic knowledge of Karnataka land laws, IPC and local body structures.
• Strong man‑management, negotiation and report‑writing abilities.
• Physically fit, willing to stay near the site and hold a valid two‑ or four‑wheel driving licence.

• Use of WhatsApp for quick communication and incident updates.
