Security Monitoring Executive

About the role

Join Aurm’s security team as a Security Monitoring Executive, responsible for overseeing real‑time security and technology monitoring across our premium safe‑deposit locker solutions. You will continuously watch dashboards, CCTV feeds, alarm systems, and network status to detect and respond to any unusual activity, ensuring swift escalation and thorough documentation. The role requires strict adherence to monitoring procedures, accurate record‑keeping, and effective communication with the IT and security teams.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor security, system, network, and operational dashboards continuously.
• Watch CCTV feeds to detect unusual or suspicious activity.
• Observe alarm system and promptly report any alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Track important security and technology alerts and follow the defined response process.
• Identify unusual events, outages, warnings, or activities and immediately inform the appropriate team.
• Follow the monitoring workflow: Detect → Acknowledge → Validate → Escalate → Track.
• Maintain accurate records of alerts, incidents, observations, and actions taken.
• Conduct scheduled weekly checks and prepare basic monitoring reports.
• Ensure proper shift handover with open alerts, pending actions, and key observations.
• Escalate high‑priority or suspicious events without delay.

• Capable of making quick, sensible decisions when something unusual is observed.
• Comfortable following defined procedures and escalation processes.
• Clear and accurate communicator of observations.
• Punctual, reliable, and willing to work night shifts, weekends, holidays, and rotational shifts.
